Chifeng welcomes Nadam fair

A Nadam fair was staged in Baarin (Barin) Left Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, July 20, to highlight the local nomadic culture and grassland traditions.

A Nadam (Mongolian for "entertainment" or "recreation") fair is a large traditional celebration with lively music, competitive sports events and festive clothing.

In recent years, Chifeng has promoted summer tourism with ethnic cultural activities, providing tourists with unique opportunities to experience various aspects of grassland life.

The festival was attended by thousands of visitors and photographers from all over the country.
