Hengqin base set up to bring in more talented youths

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area·Zhuhai (Hengqin) Innovation & Entrepreneurship Joint Base opened on July 19 to boost youth exchanges in culture, employment, and pioneering work.

The base is located at the site of co-developer Macao-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley (Inno Valley HQ). It will rely upon the influence and expertise that Inno Valley, a National Makerspace and National Developer of Sci-Tech Business Incubators, can provide.

The Hengqin New Area Working Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Association are the other developers. They signed a cooperation agreement that the base would provide exchange services and cultivate professional talents. The Hengqin Free Trade Zone south of Gongbei and adjacent to Macao will share resources during the process.

Established in Hong Kong this March, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Association is optimistic about the Hengqin FTZ's future and wants more talents from Macao and Hong Kong to contribute to it.
