Key industries ally to advance Sino-Israeli projects

The Zhuhai China-Israel Innovation-Driven Enterprises Alliance of 35 famous companies was inaugurated on July 2 during the 4th China-Israel Investment Summit.

The alliance then hosted a high-level forum for China-Israel bilateral cooperation concerning areas in which Zhuhai's industries have expertise.

Gree Electric Appliances, Actions (Zhuhai) Technology, China Aviation Industry General Aircraft (CAIGA), Meizu Technology, and six other industry leaders were behind establishment of the association.

The members will promote innovative development in Zhuhai by integrating resources for industrial layout, project construction, operations management, fund guarantees, and talent cultivation.

Their first move resulted in Zhuhai's further partnership with Israel in competitive industries such as modern agriculture, healthcare, general aircraft, and electronics and information. Negotiations in these areas were encouraged at the forum.

The alliance is also fulfilling a commitment to advance implementation of projects achieved at the summit, according to a spokesperson.

Zhuhai held the China-Israel Investment Summit from July 2 to 3 for the second consecutive year to extend business connections and improve international competitiveness. The city is preparing for a larger role in the Belt & Road Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
