Print-Rite Holdings, a premium manufacturer of printer consumables located in Nanping, Xiangzhou District, is pioneering a 3D printing innovation center to provide one-stop incubation service in partnership with the Administrative Committee of the Zhuhai Free Trade Zone. The project was launched on June 28.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao 3D Printing Industry Innovation Center, the first-of-its-kind incubator, will cultivate startups on the Print-Rite model from both upstream and downstream segments of the 3D industry. The center itself will become an incubator demonstration site in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Multi-million dollars' worth of industrial 3D printers will be available for primary product testing. Along with the testing capacity will be five other laboratories for metal, powder, and stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing as well as 3D-scanning and interior carving, which are also 3D printing components.

In addition, a high-end talent training and incubation base and service platform to commercialize scientific and technological achievements are planned. Technical forces will be gathered by establishing a school-industrial park alliance, according to a company manager.

Another big step will be construction of the company's own Witkey platform, a popular online form of crowdsourcing. It will be backed by national Maker Spaces and quality innovative service companies to be imported from Hong Kong and Macao.

Singou Technology (Macao), Contact Design Group in Hong Kong and other companies from Greater Bay Area cities will jointly establish an artificial intelligence laboratory to extend 3D printing applications.
