Zhuhai ready for 4th China-Israel Investment Summit

Zhuhai and Israeli businesses is preparing for the China-Israel Investment Summit, which for fourth year will return to the Guangdong city.

Coming off last year's success, the summit which is the largest State-level event of its kind will be hosted in Zhuhai again, taking place in the International Conference & Exhibition Center on July 2 and 3.

Political leaders, scholars, and industry heavyweights as well as business representatives from both China and Israel will be invited to the meeting, totaling more than 2,000 in number.

Prestigious speakers will discuss sci-tech cooperation with the help of the Belt & Road Initiative, and more potential outcomes that will be brought to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Opportunities for collaboration will be available in the areas of smart manufacturing, the digital economy, intellectual property, biomedicine, and smart cities.

Business networking along with various forums and project roadshows is expected to produce more results.

Industry heavyweights share industry insights at the 3rd China-Israel Investment Summit held in Zhuhai last year.

Zhuhai is currently home to a group of high-tech companies that have mastered core technologies through independent research and development, such as Gree Electric Appliances, Oceanalpha (Yunzhou Intelligent Technology), and Zhuhai 4D Age Technology.

"These companies are what make Zhuhai so vigorous and dynamic," said Chen Hongyu, executive deputy chairman of the Guangdong Economic Society, "their innovative technologies allow them to compete with the other world-class businesses worldwide and establish a global presence."

A real-time imaging product by Zhuhai 4D Age Technology displayed in last year's event captures faces and integrates them into the background of world famous painting.

The summit will display their achievements and test their ability and also provide a platform for international cooperation to make progress together, according to a spokesperson.

The event is sponsored by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development & Reform Commission and Zhuhai municipal government. It is organized by Zhuhai Huafa and Infinity groups.
