The Shandong Qingdao Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine (Qingdao No 5 People’s Hospital) is the first integrated traditional and western medicine hospital in Shandong province and is also a comprehensive municipal medical institution. 

The Qingdao Institute of Integrative Medicine is established in the hospital.                  

The hospital covers an area of 23,000 square meters. It has a floor area of 20,000 square meters and 420 beds. 

At present, there are 22 clinical departments of integrated traditional and western medicine and 12 medical laboratories. Its department of cholelithiasis is a key Chinese medicine department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

The hospital also has its 12th national five-year traditional Chinese medicine key project in its department of mental disorders. The hospital has a talent team in integrated Chinese and western medicine well-known inside and outside the province.
