Changsha will be immersed in colorful French culture and arts from April 29 to June 10 according to a press conference for the 13th Croisements Festival held at the Xie Zilong Photography Museum on April 23.

The Sino-French exchange event, which incorporates a variety of top-level cultural and arts activities in the fields of visual arts, drama, dance, music, film and literature, will present charming revues for residents and visitors in Changsha.

One highlight of this year's festival is that the "Fete de la Musique", the French national music festival, will make its Changsha debut at an unprecedented scale. Excellent musicians from both countries will perform.

In addition, French artist Philippe Ramette, who loves to create thought-provoking photos, will stage his amazing China-first solo exhibition and share his insights on photography and arts with his Chinese peers.

Founded in 2006, the program focuses on Franco-Chinese artistic collaborations, as well as exchanges between artists and cultural organizations.
