Samsung Property & Casualty Insurance (China) Co Ltd

Established in 2005 and headquartered in Shanghai, Samsung Property & Casualty Insurance (China) Co Ltd is a wholly foreign-funded property insurer owned by South Korea's Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co Ltd.

It entered the vehicle insurance market in 2010, being China's first foreign-funded property insurer offering direct-marketing vehicle insurance. It also works on business insurance including business property insurance, cargo transportation insurance, liability insurance, employee fidelity guarantee insurance, group accidental injury insurance and engineering insurance.

It was rated A by Standard & Poor's for seven consecutive years from 2008 to 2014, and a peak to A+ in 2015.
