Three days in Shanghai

Suggested route:
Day one
1. City God Temple (Cheng Huang Miao) 
It’s always a pleasure to take 2-3 hours out of the day to visit City God Temple (Cheng Huang Miao), which is an ideal place to buy local specialties and snacks.
2. Nanjing Road
The energy of Shanghai’s Nanjing Road lights up the flourishing commercial street lined with shops and outdoor cafes.
3. The Bund
Visitors swarm into the Bund every day. It is Shanghai’s famous riverfront boulevard.
4. The Bund Tourist Tunnel
The Bund Tourist Tunnel connects the two finest attractions in Shanghai: The Bund and Lujiazui.

Day two
1. Shanghai World Expo site
The Shanghai World Expo showed the world that the Chinese people could host an exposition of global and multicultural scope. The site strikes a responsive chord with the world.
2. Qibao town
Qibao is an ancient town only 11 miles from Shanghai's center. The scenery there is quite amazing. Local snacks, cricket fighting, ancient costumes and river boat rides are highly recommended.
3. Tianzifang
Many local artists and designers have set up boutiques and laid-back cafes that draw crowds of yuppies, fashionistas, designers and expatriates.

Day three
1. Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a place for science education that was the sight of a speech by United States President Barack Obama to Chinese youth.
2. Madame Tussauds Shanghai
This is the sixth branch of world-famous Madame Tussauds and the first one on the Chinese mainland.
3. Jin Mao Tower
Combining Chinese architectural style with cutting-edge technology, the tower boasts 88 stories that reach 1,380 feet (421 meters) into the booming Shanghai skyline.
4. Oriental Pearl Broadcasting and Television Tower
This landmark tower is a metaphor for the speed and height of Shanghai.
5. Shanghai Xintiandi
Shanghai Xintiandi has a perfect location, where Chinese and Western architectural styles make it a city landmark for lifestyle and culture.
