Yang Maorong: Binhai New Area to attract talents with subsidies

Yang Maorong, the mayor of Tianjin Binhai New Area, emphasized at the 10th China Green Corporation Summit that Binhai New Area will attract talents with subsidies, including 12 million yuan ($1.91 million) for academicians and Nobel Prize winners and six to seven million yuan for living costs.

Also, to cultivate graduates Binhai New Area will provide 1,000-3,000 yuan for housing guarantees and will broaden house purchasing policies to attract talents to settle down.

The revenue of Binhai New Area in 2017 increased by 14.4 percent over the previous year, the profits of entrepreneurs increased by 35 percent, the profit service industry increased by 30 percent, the industrial fixed assets increased by 34 percent, and the per capita income of urban and village dwellers increased by 8.6 percent and 8.3 percent respectively.

The 2018 China Green Corporation Summit will be held in Tianjin from April 22 to 24. Over 1,000 representatives and elites will be in attendance to talk about the increasingly intelligent times, high-quality development modes and value creation.
