Wunv Mountain National Forest Park, covering 68.6 sq km, is located to the southwest of the Yalu River and the south of Changbai Mountain. It was one of the first 20 designated national scenic spots in China.

The forest coverage of the park is 94.5 percent. It has an average temperature of 6.5 degrees and average annual precipitation of 947 millimeters.

The mountain has 26 main peaks, 17 of which are more than 1,000 m high. The five tallest peaks look like five ladies standing in the forest, which gives the mountain its name of "Wunv", meaning five ladies in Chinese.

The park has more than 1,000 kinds of plants including rare pines, birches, catalpa trees and basswood. It is also a wonderland of many wild animals and birds.
