Innovation and entrepreneurship to take off in Changchun

The Lvyuan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, located in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, has been focusing on supporting and cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial companies since its establishment.

The base, covering 11,200 sq m, has been honored as a "National Scientific and Technological enterprise Incubator" by the Ministry of Science and Technology. By the end of 2017, a total of 89 enterprises with 2,299 employees had settled in the base.

Intelligent manufacturing is one of its highlights. The base offers support for the transformation from artificial intelligent technology to production and aims to build a full industrial chain for the AI industry.

To achieve this target, the Jilin Provincial Association for Science and Technology decided to establish a professional work station in the base to offer guidance to entrepreneurs in AI fields.

Furthermore, the base will provide entrepreneurship teams with advanced devices and high-tech systems such as facial recognition databases and binocular cameras to help them realize their AI dreams.

The adoption of AI technology is also a focus at the base. Advanced and innovative technology will change the traditional ways of production and can foster industrial transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing.
