Momoge -- home of cranes

Hundreds of migratory birds including white cranes, grey cranes, bean geese and swans were recently seen at Momoge National Nature Reserve in Zhenlai town, Jilin province.

As it becomes warmer, migratory birds are returning to the North.

Located at the border of Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Zhenlai town has rich natural food resources which attract plenty of birds every year during the migration periods.

The town has been called "the Hometown of White Cranes in China".
