Yanji Hospital

Established in 1948, Yanji Hospital is a level B tertiary hospital which integrates medical treatment, teaching, preventive health care and rehabilitation services. It also undertakes the clinical teaching and internship instruction tasks of Yanbian University Medical School and Yanbian University School of Nursing.

The hospital, currently 13,600 sq m, features 400 beds and has 21 clinical departments, four medical technology departments and one pharmacy department. There are 585 staff members in total, including 193 doctors, 244 nurses, and 47 medical technicians.

At the end of 2011, it was selected as a pilot unit for the reform of county-level public hospitals in Jilin province.
