Brain Hospital of Jilin Province

The Brain Hospital of Jilin Province, also known as the Jilin Provincial Neuropsychiatry Hospital and the Third People's Hospital of Jilin Province, was founded in October 1949. It is a level-A tertiary hospital directly subordinated to the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission.

The hospital, covering 72,812 sq m, has 850 beds. To date, there are 845 staff members in charge of medical treatment and technical affairs.

The clinical diagnosis and treatment level and the scientific research ability, particularly in the field of sophisticated surgical procedures for neurosurgery, have improved in recent years. The hospital has taken advantage of its neurology research and joined an alliance for prevention and control of strokes.
