Tianjin First Center Hospital

Tianjin First Center Hospital was founded in 1949. In 1956, it got present name after merging with the Hospital of Posts and Telecommunications, Tianhe Hospital, Enguang Hospital and some others.

Tianjin First Center Hospital has developed into a comprehensive large-scale modern hospital in medical treatment, teaching, disease prevention and scientific research, and is one of the three major medical centers in Tianjin. The hospital has 1,200 beds, 36 clinical departments, 21 accredited disciplines for doctoral and master's degree, and 6 research institutes. It boasts abundant technical force, with 2,150 health technical personnel, among them 334 persons who enjoy senior titles and 31 experts who are entitled to the special allowance of the State Council; 61 of the staff are master's or doctoral supervisors. It is also a post-doctoral workstation in clinical medicine. In recent years, it has completed over 130 research programs at provincial or ministerial level and above.
