The First Hospital of Jilin University

The hospital, with a 55 year history, was founded in 1949. It is located at Xinmin Street in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, and neighbors Chaoyang Park in the south and Cultural Square in the north.

It is a 3A classified comprehensive hospital which integrates medical treatment, teaching, research, disease prevention, and health care and rehabilitation services. 

The hospital, covering 95,000 sq m, features 1,550 beds, 80 operating rooms, a translational medicine institute, a genetic testing center, a physical examination center, and an international health promotion center.

The hospital welcomes an average of more than 3,000 patients per day.

It has 67 clinical departments, seven outpatient offices and 11 medical technical and ancillary departments.
