Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital was established in February 1947. As one of the first provincial-level maternity and infant hospitals, it was ranked as a grade three, class one special hospital in 1995, before becoming the first maternity and infant hospital to be affiliated with Tongji University in 2006.
Officially opened to the public in August 2013, the eastern division of the hospital is located in the Pudong New Area, spanning an area of 60 mu and housing 500 beds.
The eastern division boasts advanced medical facilities, engaging in obstetrics, gynecology, family planning, neonatology, reproduction immunity and maternal and child health.
Reservations can be made via walk-in, telephone, online, public WeChat account and Alipay.
