Guangzhou talks global promotion

A round-table conference called "2018 the Conversation between Guangzhou and the World" was held at the Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center on March 28.

More than one hundred domestic and international guests attended the conference to discuss the best ways for Guangzhou to conduct international communication. Among them were Clay Chandler, executive editor of Time International and co-chair of the Fortune Global Forum, Max Raven, senior vice-president of CNBC, and Harvey Dzodin, CCTV special commentator and former vice-president of ABC.

At the conference, Zhu Xiaoyi, deputy head of the Guangzhou publicity department, announced a series of major global promotion events for the city in 2018. The fifth roadshow (after the roadshows successively held in Davos, Paris, Beijing, and this time in Guangzhou) for the "2018 Global Conversations between Guangzhou and the World" promotion plan will be held in Bo'ao, Hainan province, during the Bo'ao Forum for Asia Annual Conference, a China-hosted high-end platform for global dialogues.

This September, Guangzhou will host the 2018 World Routes Conference and a forum for international business media.

Besides that, Guangzhou is also devising an international forum themed "City in the Future" in cooperation with the world-famous media publication The Economist.
