Guangzhou University

Guangzhou University is a comprehensive and key public university dually affiliated to Guangzhou Municipal Government and Guangdong Provincial Government with a history of over 70 years.

The university has two campuses covering a total area of 153.3 hectares. The major campus is located in the southwestern part of Guangzhou Higher Education Meager Center and the other one is located in the downtown area of Guangzhou.

The university offers 87 majors covering ten disciplines including philosopher, law, education, literature, science, engineering, economics and management.

Guangzhou University has been attaching importance to international exchanges and cooperation. It has established cooperative relationship with many overseas countries and regions, including the US, UK, Australia and Canada. It has signed collaboration agreements with several foreign universities.

The goal of the university is to develop itself into a comprehensive university with strong research fields and to be ranked in a leading position among the universities of its similar type.
