Zhuhai Recycling Times Culture Communication hosted the only professional printing consumable exposition officially recognized by Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail from March 22 to 23.

RT Imaging Summit & Expo -- EMEA 2018 brought 87 enterprises to Cairo, of which 24 were from Zhuhai. More than 1,500 buyers from Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Dubai, Italy, and the United Kingdom attended the event.

The first RT Imaging Summit & Expo -- EMEA was held in Cairo last April. Local enterprises comprising one-third of the exhibitors included Apex Microelectronics, Zhuhai Polytoner Image, Zhuhai Chinamate Technology, Zhuhai Topjet Technology, Zhuhai Mito Color Imaging, and the Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce of Importers & Exporters.

The number of registered buyers increased by 38.8 percent year-on-year, and that of countries rose by 15 percent. Compared with the more-mature American and Chinese markets, the emerging African market exhibits great prospects for future development, according to the organizer.

Prime Minister Ismail welcomed the printing consumable enterprises to Egypt. Just like China, he said, it is a nation with profound cultural connotations to the industry, while having an abundance of business opportunities and much developmental potential.

Up next, the RT Imaging Summit & Expo -- America 2018 is to be held in Cancun in southeastern Mexico from May 24 to 25. Relying on the international trade platform set up by RecyclingTimes (RT) Group, Zhuhai's printing consumable industry will fasten its pace to keep in step with global standards, stated an RT executive.

Meanwhile, the industry will embrace a new round of development with accelerated construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, leapfrog development of the Hengqin Free Trade Zone, and opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

Moreover, Zhuhai will further prove its status as the "Print Consumables Capital of the World" with innovative capabilities, exceptional industrial environment, distinctive industrial characteristics, scaled enterprise agglomeration, prominent brand awareness, and 100-billion-yuan ($15.8-billion) industrial scale by 2020.
