Located in the Jingyue National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Changchun, Jilin province, Jilin Jianzhu University is a key general institution of higher education in Jilin province.
Covering 700, 000 sq m, it was founded in 1956 and has multilevel educational programs for undergraduates and postgraduates.
The main major of the university is engineering but it also offers courses in literature, management and law.
The university has approximately 13,000 full time students and 18 teaching units, including a School of Architecture and Planning, School of Civil Engineering, and School of Urban Planning.
