Teens learn meteorological science

Experts from the meteorological bureau of Urad Middle Banner talked about meteorology and instruments used for monitoring the weather to local middle school students on March 21, with the purpose of generating enthusiasm for science and technology.
The event marked the 58th World Meteorological Day, an annual event falling on March 23. It was founded by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), a specialized agency attached to the United Nations. This year, its theme is "Weather-Ready, Climate-Smart".
No 1 Middle School of Urad Middle Banner has been promoting meteorological sciences as part of an after-school project.
