Shaoxing to host national robotics event in April

Shaoxing in East China's Zhejiang province will host the RoboCup 2018 China Zone competition and the China National Robotics Development Forum from April 13 to 15, according to a news conference on March 24.
More than 500 teams from around the country will participate in the competition and a group of China's top scientists including members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering will be invited to offer suggestions.
On the sidelines of the competition, there will be four parallel forums with themes on different types of robots such as coexisting-cooperative-cognitive robots and medical robots.
The event will take place in Shaoxing's Keqiao district, the center of Chinese textiles. There are plans to add industrial elements to the event by inviting enterprises to share successful cases about the transfer of technology from laboratories to factories.
