Shanghai Second Polytechnic University

Founded in 1960, Shanghai Second Polytechnic University locates at the Pudong New Area, adjacent to many of the world’s Top 500 companies, with certain geographical advantages for both study and enterprise-university cooperation. 

It has a faculty number of around 1,100 and 20,000 students. Its library's houses around 1.18 million volumes. The university is engineering-dominated, and also involves multidisciplined courses such as economics, management, literature and science. It boasts 31 undergraduate majors and 30 higher vocational majors.  

The school gives much attention to international communications and cooperation and has long cooperated with dozens of universities, research institutes, and enterprises around the world. The International Student Affairs Office oversees international student things.
