Mendale Household Textiles was founded in 1956. It was listed in 2010 with a brand value of 1.4 billion yuan ($221.1 million). After the acquisition of SICHOU Gmbh (Silk) in Germany, Mendale managed to absorb nine overseas home furnishing brands, including Somma, Kauffmann, Hamam, Venini, Billerbeck and Drahoma. With its comprehensive strength and sustainable development ability steadily ranking first in the family textile industry in China, Mendale now leads the industry domestically.
Mendale has set up a marketing network consisting mainly of large shopping malls and specialty stores. It owns 758 stores and 522 counters in provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities around the country. It has also established business relations with 56 foreign companies and exported products to 46 countries and regions such as the US, the European Union and Southeast Asia.
