Some intangible cultural heritage that could reflect Jilin's folk culture such as Manchu paper-cutting and folk musical instrument performances will also be seen at the exhibition.

People can also visit the sub-exhibition in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, and Shenyang, Liaoning province.

To promote traditional culture, three cultural institutes including the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute signed cooperation agreements with the exhibition committee.

The exhibition began in 2002 and has been held ten times in the city. The event intends to promote traditional Chinese culture by gathering folk artwork and skills and show them to the public.

The event also helps promote the historical city and improves its cultural influences.
