Jin Opera staged in N China’s Baotou

A Jin Opera performance is staged at Baotou Grand Theater, Feb 22. Jin opera is a type of opera originating in the central area of Shanxi province. It is one of the four Bangzi operas, a type of opera distinguished by its use of wooden clappers and energetic singing, which is extremely popular in Shanxi province, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and Hebei province.
