Yinlong New Energy was recognized as a Green Factory when a plaque was presented by the Ministry of Industry & Information Technology (MIIT) on Feb 23. Cited is the Zhuhai company's dedication to green technology and low-carbon development via clean, safe, energy-efficient, and low-carbon systems.

The Green Factory concept was first proposed by MIIT in 2017. It puts green production in the forefront, and supports China's strategy to establish a green manufacturing system and the Made in China 2025 initiative.

To earn the title, prospects must meet criteria in terms of infrastructure, management systems, products, energy consumption, emissions, and profits, which are graded for efficiency and environmental impact.

Founded in Sanzao Town of Jinwan District in 2009, Yinlong is a domestic leader in the field. It operates with mastery of core technologies and an all-inclusive industrial chain. Advanced R&D capacity has led to a series of intelligent green solutions to environmental pollution, traffic jams, extensive energy consumption, and other issues that arise from urban development.

For example, cutting-edge lithium-titanite battery technology, which has achieved the highest safety levels in terms of quick charge and discharge, has been applied to new-energy vehicle production, industrial energy storage, and military-civilian integration.

The endorsement of Yinlong's new-energy progression can inspire more firms to establish green manufacturing systems, and the Zhuhai firm's example will be something for other industries to follow, according to a government official.

Aside from factories, Green Manufacturing also encompasses Green Design Products, Green Parks, and Management Enterprises with Green Supply Chain.
