Hunan railway made over 4.6 million passenger trips after holiday

Hunan railway transport system made 4.63 million passenger trips after the week-long Spring Festival holiday, a year-on-year increase of 11.7 percent, according to China Railway Guangzhou Group. On Feb 25, Hunan made 560,000 passenger trips.

China Railway Guangzhou Group is expected to add 360 train trips for Changsha-Guangdong and Changsha-Shanghai railway lines, 260 of which are general-speed train trips and 100 are high-speed train trips.

According to statistics, China Railway Guangzhou Group made 1.43 million passenger trips on Feb 25, 116,000 of which were made in Changsha South Railway Station.

There is no tickets left for train trips from Changsha to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu for the day of Feb 26. A few tickets are available for intra-provincial short-distance train trips, such as from Changsha Railway Station to Yueyang, Changde and Yongzhou, and from Changsha South Railway Station to Loudi and Shaoyang.
