Cultural promotion rises in Changchun

A series of cultural consumption activities opened at Changchun, capital of Jilin province, on Feb 12 and will last until Feb 21.

Performances, cultural products sales and traditional Chinese culture shows are all included. The activities not only promote traditional Chinese culture among Jilin people, but also integrate culture with travel and business.

Changchun was one of the first Chinese cities to promote traditional culture through consumption and subsidies. A total of over 300 cultural activities were held there in 2017, attracting millions of people.

In addition, a cultural and art space, sponsored by the Jilin government and Eurasia Shopping Mall, will open in the city. It will be a promotional platform where people can experience traditional Chinese culture.
