Tianjin already serving travel rush

Tianjin's volunteers have already begun serving the annual travel rush in long-distance bus stations, railway stations, subway stations and the airport.

Volunteers from Tianjin University of Technology are in charge of the outside of Tianjin Railway Station, while volunteers from Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College take care of the inside of the station and the platforms.

Wang Jingwen, a third year student from Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College, said that "It is my third time to be a volunteer for the travel rush. Although it's a little bit tiring, I still feel satisfied helping passengers."

Students from Tianjin Haihe Middle School are volunteering in Tianjin Binhai International Airport. They answer enquiries, give directions and help with luggage claim services for passengers. "It is a good time for middle school students to do social practice; the most important thing is to help them build a correct view of life and values," said Wang, a teacher at Tianjin Haihe Middle School.

In the Terminal 1 of Tianjin Binhai International Airport, volunteers from Tianjin Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau hand out masks and explain inspection and quarantine procedures designed to prevent epidemics.

All the volunteers warm the hearts of people on their way home.
