Jilin's cultural centers show vigorous growth in New Era

Cultural centers in communities of Jilin, facing the task of publicizing theories regarding policies, laws, science and technology and culture, have recently brought information to local people based on their needs through a series of activities.

Yanhe Community in Changchun city invited a local art team to perform operas to express to the residents the values of history, ethnicity and nationalism, as well as the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, attracting applause from the audience.

Tongming Community in Baishan city held a lecture on legal knowledge in its cultural center. Participants of the lecture said that it improved their legal awareness and understanding of law.

The center in the Ginseng Research Institute of Fusong county conducted a training of planting skills for local farmers. The training was a platform to give farmers greater access to new technologies so as to improve villages' prosperity.

Wanghe village in Shuangliao city carried out agricultural science activities to share knowledge of rice planting.

Xindian village, also in Shuangliao, invited experts to instruct villagers on livestock breeding. After the training, experts also provided on-site guidance to farmers and sent related materials to them.
