CFS-dubbed Suburbicon arrives

Suburbicon, a Hollywood crime thriller black comedy film, arrives in China on Jan 12, 2018.

It is directed by George Clooney and co-written by Joel and Ethan Coen. Some bankable film stars join the film like Matt Damon, a high-grossing actor and Julianne Moore, an Oscar-winning actress.

Its Chinese version was dubbed by Changchun Film Studio (CFS), the cradle of China's film industry. It is the first dubbed film by the studio in 2018.

Many subtitle translators, directors and dubbers were involved in the production.

Guo Jinfei, a renowned dubber, is the voice of Matt Damon. Meng Li and Wang Xiaowei dub for Julianne Moore.

Suburbicon tells the story of of a murder in a peaceful town in America in the 1950s. The film attempts to expose human nature through black humor.

It contains satire, mystery, panic and humor – a special viewing experience.
