Changchun World Sculpture Park has been updating its infrastructure and sculpture collection to become an international statue art palace and a bridge for connecting the city to the world.
In total, 454 sculpture works made by 404 sculptors from 216 countries and regions are presented in the Park which covers 920,000 square meters in land and 118,000 in water.
All of the sculptures reflect a common world dream — valuing friendship and looking forward to a peaceful life.
According to its staff member, the park integrates traditional and modern designing and combines the natural scenery with the man-made artworks, reflecting a harmonious atmosphere between humans and nature.
Additionally, the park has upgraded its landscape environment to improve tourists' experiences.
More than 100 construction programs such as enlarging the art hall, reconstructing the tourist service center, and building a new 3D printing experience hall, have been completed.
The Park was founded in 2003. Besides being as a local attraction, it also serves as a base for sculpturing research and teaching. Some international sculpture institutes and art colleges have also held exchange activities here.
It is now a center that meets the needs of visitors from all aspects of touring, learning, leisure, and entertainment.
