Changchun to seek promotion through conventions and exhibitions

A seminar on the growth and importance of the convention and exhibition industry in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, was held on Dec 27.

China's convention and exhibition industry has improved a great deal particularly in the past five years and has played a significant role in the promotion of China's development and increased international industrial cooperation.

Changchun will seize the chance and host better and more meaningful conferences to promote that cooperation and its own culture and economic activity.

At the seminar, Han Baoshuang, president of the Changchun Convention and Exhibition Industrial Association, stressed the importance of improving the competitiveness of Changchun's convention industry and expanding the city's influence through international cooperation.
