Founded in 1954, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group Co. (内蒙古第一机械集团有限公司) is one of 156 key projects established during the First Five-Year Plan (1953-1957), and the largest equipment manufacturer in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It is a subsidiary of China North Industries Group Corporation.
With total assets worth 13 billion yuan ($1.97 billion) and a base of 110 square kilometers housing more than 15,000 employees, the company includes a national-level technology center and academic workstations that form a comprehensive machinery manufacturing system.
