Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Company Limited

Founded in 1985, Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Company Limited (内蒙古鹿王羊绒有限公司) is based in Donghe district, Baotou city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Made with cashmere, the company’s hundreds of products can be classified into three types –– knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and clothing. Its annual production capacity is four million cashmere sweaters and one million square meters of woven fabrics, with 70 percent of which being sold to overseas markets, such as the United States, Europe, Japan and South Korea. The company’s annual sales total more than 1 billion yuan ($ 151.4 million) and it earns foreign exchange of $80 million through exports. 

In addition to the production base in Baotou, the company also has two overseas production bases in Madagascar and Cambodia, with more than 10,000 employees. In China, it has a head office, 23 branch companies and over 800 terminal stores. Its clothing for men and women is available throughout the year to customers around the country. 

During more than 30 years of development, the company has become a leading brand in China’s cashmere industry and was listed as one of the key leading enterprises of national-level agricultural industrialization. It spends 500 million yuan each year purchasing approximately 2,000 tons of raw materials, bringing benefits to hundreds of thousands of farmers and herdsmen.
