Millions provided for advanced firms new to Jinwan

Multimillion-dollar incentives will be granted by municipal and Jinwan's district governments to each qualified advanced-entity project that newly settles.

Supportive policies, such as those formulated by Zhuhai and Guangdong, were interpreted at the 20th Executive Meeting of Jinwan District Government on Dec 7. The intent is to attract investment and propel development of the local real economy.

Beneficiaries include organizations, individuals, and projects that settle, those that establish headquarters, and companies that branch out or expand in Jinwan.

Of them, advanced-entity projects newly registered in Jinwan can receive 3 million yuan ($453,400) for every $10 million or 100 million yuan ($15 million) of registered capital.

A subsidy of 4.5 million yuan ($680,100) will be granted to every add-on registered capital of $10 million or 100+ million yuan by real-economy projects in the district.

Real-economy projects whose year-on-year growth of prime operating revenue exceeds 100 million, 500 million ($75.6 million), 1 billion ($151 million) or 5 billion yuan ($756 million) will receive from 3 million ($453,400) to 30 million yuan ($4.5 million) each.

The executives urged relevant municipal and district departments not only to offer high-quality follow-up services for these newcomers, but to attract R&D organizations and sales centers of the enterprises to settle in Jinwan.
