New energy cars already on roads

The 2017 China New Energy Automobile Expo, promoting the use of green cars, is being held in Changchun, capital of Jilin province from Dec 2.
The theme of the Expo is "Manufacturing new energy products and creating green life" and 441 types of new energy and hybrid power cars are on display.
Visitors can both learn about the functions of the cars and experience driving them.
The Expo is sponsored by the Changchun Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jilin Internet providers and media, the Jilin Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Changchun Automobile Trade Association.
On Nov 20 this year, special license plates started to appear in Changchun; the new energy cars they designate will be supervised just like traditional gasoline vehicles.
