Vice Mayor Xu Kunlin

Xu Kunlin, male, Han Chinese, was born in Yongchun, Fujian Province. Xuis a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a Bachelor's degree in economics. He is now vice mayor of Shanghai.

Xu began to work in August 1984 and served successively as a division chief and deputy director of the Department of Price, director of the Department of Price Supervision, directorof the Bureau of Price Supervision and Anti-Monopoly, director of the Department of Price, director of the Department of Fixed Asset Investment, and deputy secretary-generalof the National Development and Reform Commission (formerly the State Development Planning Commission).
