Baotou village honored for ethnic characteristics

A village named Sarutalagazha, located in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner of Baotou, was selected as a village with ethnic characteristics, according to information released by the tourism bureau of Baotou.

A memorial hall is situated in the village for residents to pay tribute to Habutu Hasar. Habutu Hasar, who was one of Genghis Khan's three brothers, was also known as Jo'chi Qasar. The 27th day of the seventh lunar month marks the anniversary of Hasar’s death. [Photo/tourism bureau of Baotou]
