Despite constitutional differences with Brazilian players, Chinese football teams are making progress, said R&F reserved team head coach Dejan Govedarica. He said Chinese football will be comparable to counterparts in Europe, the US, and Brazil in the next 10 years.

Chang Weiwei, head coach of Evergrande, was satisfied with the team's performance as all the players tried their best. The defense was fine in general; the major difference lay in individual abilities, which will be the next training focus, he said.

An attraction on the sideline of the China-Latin America & Caribbean International Exposition, the event was guided by the Chinese Football Association, Hengqin New Area Administrative Committee, and Zhuhai Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau, and it was supported by the Zhuhai Football Association.

Hosted by the Guangdong Football Association and Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Investment, it was locally handled by Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Culture & Media, China-Latin America (Zhuhai) Investment, and the Hengqin Football Association.
