Inner Mongolia’s economy grows during Q1-3

The economy of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region enjoyed healthy development during the first three quarters of this year, according to the region’s statistics bureau.

During this period, the quantities of pigs, cows and sheep sold from farms all increased compared with the same period last year.

The added value of tertiary industry in the region increased by 7.8 percent; total value of imports and exports reached 71.75 billion yuan ($10.85 billion), up 29.1 percent compared with the same period last year; and per capita disposable income of the region’s residents reached 19,321 yuan, up 8.8 percent compared with the same period last year.
