Service sector booms in Baotou

The Baotou service sector is on a fast track with added value hitting 149.15 billion yuan ($22.44 billion), representing year-on-year growth of 7.6 percent during the first three quarters of 2017, reports Baotou Daily. 

The figure made up 49.9 percent of Baotou city’s GDP, and contributed to 55.3 percent of regional economic growth.

The added value of primary industry reached 3.68 billion yuan, year-on-year growth of 3.6 percent. The added value of second industry totaled146.19 billion yuan, year-on-year growth of 5.8 percent.
