The Gaolan Port Economic Zone in Zhuhai has been chosen as the site of a new 2.5-billion-yuan ($376 million) wholly owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Suntak Circuit Technology Co Ltd, states a public notification on the company website.

The base of the world-leading printed circuit board (PCB) service enterprise will cover 26.7 hectares and be constructed over three stages. When completed, it will produce 6.4 million-sq-m of circuit boards per year, and have an approximate annual output value of 5 billion yuan ($752 million). Main products will be precision circuit boards including multilayer, high-density interconnect (HDI), and flexible PCBs.

In addition to design and manufacture, the company will also engage in the import and export of commodities and technologies. A business license was obtained in September after industrial and commercial registration was completed. Environmental impact assessments (EIA) are accessible by the public.

The Shenzhen parent company was established in 1995. Suntak has become a "PCB One-Stop Shop" service provider meeting diverse customer demands. The enterprise can produce over 2 million sq m per year and more than 18,000 items per month. Sales revenue exceeded $339 million in 2016.
