Hohhot promotes tourism in Hangzhou

With the third World Leisure Expo around the corner, a promotional conference on tourism was held in Hangzhou on Oct 19, aiming to bolster Hohhot as an international travel destination.

Wang Jiping, vice mayor of Hohhot, and Wang Hong, vice mayor of Hangzhou attended the conference.

Hohhot Municipal Commission of Tourism Development introduced the tourism products and preferential policies of Qingshuihe county, Yuquan district and Chilechuan scenic spot at the promotional event which attracted 120 travel agencies from Hangzhou.

"Hohhot seized the opportunities, and made the development of tourism the priority of service industries in the past years. We have built the city into a popular tourism resort," said Wang Jiping, speaking at the conference.

He added that Hohhot aims to promote the all-for-one tourism and show its rich tourism resources to Hangzhou and the world through the platforms, enhance exchanges and cooperation between Hohhot and Hangzhou for common development.

Hangzhou is a major station of promotion of tourism. In recent years, Hohhot has seen more and more tourists from Hangzhou coming to Hohhot.
