22 Yantai-based entrepreneurs make the Hurun Rich List

Twenty-two entrepreneurs from Yantai, East China's Shandong province made it onto the Hurun Rich List 2017 released on Oct 18, local media reported.

The number is the largest among cities in Shandong province.

Song Zuowen, chairman of Nanshan Group which specializes in the aluminum, apparel and real estate sectors, secured the 81st place on the list and is now recognized as the richest person in Yantai. His family wealth rose 5 percent to 29.5 billion yuan ($4.4 billion), according to the list.

Most of the listed Yantai-based entrepreneurs are over 50 years old, with the eldest being 80 and the youngest 27.

The list named Xu Jiayin, chairman of Evergrande Real Estate Group, the richest person in China with a net worth of 290 billion yuan.
