TEDA named in green demo list

The Tianjin Economical-technological Development Area has been included in the first green manufacturing demonstration list formulated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The demonstration list takes into account green factories, green products, green parks and green supply chain enterprises.
Tianjin Asymchem Pharmaceutical is the only green factory in Tianjin to be listed.
The purpose of the list is to implement Made in China 2025, promote construction of a green manufacturing system, and establish models to guide industries' transformation.
The Tianjin Economical-technological Development Area insists on eco-management.
As it constructs a green park the area will raise energy efficiency by combining heat and power and using geothermal and solar energy in factories.
