New container terminal company opens for business in Hebei

On Sept 15, the opening ceremony of Tianjin Hebei International Container Terminal Co Ltd was held in Bohai New District of Cangzhou, North China's Hebei province.

The company is jointly invested by Tianjin Port Group and Hebei Port Group. It is located in Huanghua Port at Bohai Gulf, adjacent to Beijing and Tianjin, one of the most economical estuaries in the Bohai Rim.

At present, the company has two berths for 100-thousand-ton container vessels, with annual capacity of 900 thousand TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit), able to serve all the important ports along the coast of China.

Tianjin Hebei International Container Terminal Co Ltd will next exploit its geographical and political advantages to further construction of Xiongan New Area and development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
